Staff Selection Commission (SSC), has released a notification on its official website for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade C & D posts. This recruitment is for 731 posts. Stenographer Grade CCandidates must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board in India and should possess transcription skills, with a transcription time of 40 minutes for English and 55 minutes for Hindi.
Stenographer Grade DCandidates must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board in India and should possess transcription skills, with a transcription time of 50 minutes for English and 65 minutes for Hindi.
Qualification Details
  • Stenographer (Grade C) : 12th Class Passed, Stenography [Dictation (English / Hindi) : 10 Mins : 100 WPM, Transcription (English : 40 Minutes | Hindi : 55 Minutes)].
  • Stenographer (Grade D) : 12th Class Passed, Stenography [Dictation (English / Hindi) : 10 Minutes : 80 WPM, Transcription (English : 50 Minutes | Hindi : 65 Minutes)].
