• Online submission of application can only be made from the link provided on the official FRI website at https://fri.icfre.gov.in. Candidates should read the instructions carefully before filling up the online application form. No other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates who desire to apply for more than one post should apply online separately for each post. However, FRI will not be responsible if candidates get the exam centre at long distances or on the same date/time.

• Candidates are advised to submit online applications well before the closing date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability or failure to login to the FRI website due to heavy load during the closing date. After final submission, no request with respect to change in any data submitted in the online application form will be entertained. In case of any corrigendum/addendum pertaining to this advertisement, the same shall be published on the Institute’s website only.

Documents / Upload Requirements:

• Recent passport size colour photograph (taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background; face clearly visible)
• Signature (signed on white paper with Black/Blue ink pen – must be of applicant only)
• Left hand thumb impression (scanned digital image)
• All relevant certificates (educational qualification, age proof, category certificate, etc.) as per instructions given during filling the online application form

Documents to be Produced at the Time of Document Verification (Originals + Copies):

• Educational qualification certificates and marksheets (from 10th onwards as applicable)
• Age proof certificate
• SC/ST Certificate in the prescribed format (as applicable for appointment to posts under Govt. of India)
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate in prescribed format valid for FY 2025-26 (issued before last date of application submission)
• EWS Income & Asset Certificate in prescribed format from a Competent Authority
• PwD Certificate in the prescribed format (as applicable for appointment to posts under Govt. of India)
• Ex-Serviceman discharge/service certificate and undertaking (in prescribed format)
• NOC from employer (for candidates working in Government Departments, Public Sector Undertakings and Government Funded Research Agencies) – uploaded at the time of form filling
• All documents uploaded during online application must be produced at the time of document verification

Important Instructions for FRI Group C Recruitment 2026 Candidates

• Online applications only – no other mode of application will be accepted; applications incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected.
• Candidates must fully satisfy themselves about their eligibility before applying – if ineligibility is detected at any stage before or after appointment, candidature/appointment shall be cancelled/terminated immediately.
• Examination fee once paid will not be refunded or re-adjusted under any circumstances – application fee will be refunded only in the event of a post becoming zero.
• All posts are temporary in nature but likely to continue further; candidates will be confirmed after successfully completing probationary period as per rules.
• Candidates who desire to apply for more than one post must apply online separately for each post.
• FRI will not entertain any request for change in test date/time/Centre in case of any clash – candidates need to decide the test they would like to take.
• Candidates working in Government Departments, PSUs, and Government Funded Research Agencies must send application through proper channel and submit NOC at the time of document verification.
• For OBC-NCL candidates, the certificate must be valid for FY 2025-26 and issued before the last date of submission of application.
• Candidates must not write personal identity (name, roll number, mobile number, address etc.) inside the Answer Book during Descriptive Test – failure will be treated as Unfair Means (UFM).
• Photograph must be a recent passport size colour photograph taken against a light-coloured preferably white background; if photograph and signature are not clearly visible, candidature will be liable to be rejected.
• Canvassing in any form and/or bringing any influence, political or otherwise, will definitely be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.

• Appointment is subject to candidates being found medically fit as per the requirements of the Institute.
