Selection Process The competitive examination will be conducted through Online Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 100 objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQ). Questions related to the concerned course: 50 Punjabi Language Knowledge: 20 General Knowledge: 10 Reasoning: 10 General English: 10 The exam would be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration. There will be negative marking @ 0.25 (1/4th) of the marks allotted for correct answer. Minimum qualifying marks in the online test: General Category candidates: 45% Reserve Category candidates: 35% In case of multiple shifts, normalization of marks will be applied. Final merit will be prepared on the basis of normalized marks. How to Apply Candidates must apply online only through the PSPCL website: www.pspcl.in Online application window: 20-04-2026 to 10-05-2026. Fee deposit last date: 15-05-2026. Candidates are required to upload scanned Photograph and Signature in the prescribed format. No documents/certificates are required to be uploaded at the time of online application. All details must be filled accurately as per original documents. After successful submission and fee payment, candidates will receive provisional admission to the examination. Final selection is subject to document checking. One candidate can submit only one application for the post. General Instructions Before filling the online application, candidates must read the full advertisement carefully. All information provided in the online application must match the original certificates. Any mismatch detected during document checking will result in cancellation of candidature. Provisional admission to the examination does not guarantee eligibility; final selection is subject to verification of original documents. All updates regarding examination, result, document checking, etc. will be sent via registered e-mail ID. Candidates must keep their e-mail ID and mobile number active till the entire recruitment process is completed. Application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. No request for change in category, sub-category, or any details will be accepted after submission. Age, educational qualification, and other eligibility criteria will be considered as on 01-01-2026. Reservations and age relaxations will be given as per prevailing Government rules (detailed in the advertisement). PwD, Ex-Servicemen, Sports Person, Freedom Fighter, and other reserved category candidates must produce valid certificates at the time of document checking. In case of any dispute, the decision of the PSPCL shall be final and binding. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
