| Educational Qualification (Mandatory) | - Candidates must have successfully completed the Basic Health Worker Female (ANM) Training Course as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, which includes 6 months of midwifery training.

| Registration (Mandatory) | - Candidates must possess a valid/renewed registration certificate with Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council, Dehradun up to the last date of online application. Registration certificates issued after the last date will not be accepted.

| Desirable Qualification (Adhimani Arhat) | In case of equal marks, preference will be given to candidates who have:- Served in the Provincial Army for at least two years, or
- Obtained NCC ‘B’ Certificate.

| Domicile / Residence Requirement (Mandatory) | Candidates must hold an Uttarakhand State Domicile/Permanent Resident Certificate up to the last date of online application. Eligible categories:- Candidates who have passed High School and Intermediate or equivalent examinations from recognized institutions in Uttarakhand state.
- Personnel serving in Armed Forces/Para-Military Forces and regular employees of State/Central Government organizations stationed in Uttarakhand, whose services cannot be transferred outside Uttarakhand, and their spouses and children.

| Nationality | - The candidate must be a citizen of India, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
