- Eligibility Screening: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview.

- Participation in the Olympics/Paralympics/Asian Games/World Championship or equivalent (as defined by SAI) with a certificate course in Coaching.
- Dronacharya Awardee.
- As defined by the governing body of SAI in respect of sports quota recruits.
