LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2026 : The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2026 is an important scholarship opportunity for meritorious students from economically weaker sections who want to pursue higher education in India. The scheme is offered through the LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation and aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students so that financial difficulties do not become a barrier to higher education. The scholarship covers various courses including Medical, Engineering, Graduation, Integrated Courses, Diploma, Vocational Courses and ITI programmes. A separate scholarship category is also available for students pursuing higher studies after Class 10.

Eligibility Details
General Scholarship (After Class 12th / Diploma)
Candidates who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Academic Year 2023-24 / 2024-25 / 2025-26. Taken admission in Academic Year 2026-27 for the 1st year of Medicine (MBBS / BAMS / BHMS / BDS), Engineering (BE / BTech / BArch), Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course, or Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges/Institutes or ITI courses. Family annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs. 4,50,000/-.
Special Scholarship (After Class 10th)
Candidates who have passed Class X (or equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Academic Year 2023-24 / 2024-25 / 2025-26. Have taken admission in the academic year 2026-27 in the first year of Intermediate / 10+2 pattern / Vocational or Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/institutions or ITI courses. Family annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs. 4,50,000/-.
Number of Scholarships
General Scholarship : 80 per Division (40 Male + 40 Female) → Total approx. 8,960 (112 Divisions × 80) Special Scholarship : 40 per Division (20 Boys + 20 Girls) → Total approx. 4,480 (112 Divisions × 40) Gender slots are interchangeable in case of shortage within the category. Overall limit : 8,960 (General) + 4,480 (Special).
