Educational Qualification & Experience| Essential Qualification | Graduation in any discipline | | Experience Option 1 | Minimum 5 years experience in Pay Level 5 or above in any recognized residential school | | Experience Option 2 | Minimum 7 years experience on consolidated pay of Rs. 29,200/- or above in recognized residential school | | Experience Option 3 | Ex-defence personnel with minimum 5 years experience in Pay Level 5 or above | | Experience Option 4 | Minimum 3 years experience for candidates who worked in JNVs | | Desirable Qualification | Master’s Degree / B.Ed / Regional Language Proficiency |
Key Duties & Responsibilities- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of hostel dormitories.
- Maintain safety and security of students during all hours.
- Distribute student entitlement items including bedding, stationery and uniforms.
- Maintain student leave records and out-pass/in-pass registers.
- Monitor daily hostel routine including wake-up and lights-off timings.
- Coordinate with Principal, Vice Principal and Hostel authorities.
- Contractee must reside on campus during the contract period.
Contract Terms- The engagement is purely on contract basis for academic session 2026-27.
- The contract may be terminated by either side with one month notice.
- No claim for regularization or permanent appointment will be entertained.
- Re-engagement may be considered only based on performance and requirement.
- Selected candidates must attend orientation/training programmes organized by NVS.
Eligibility- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Minimum required experience in recognized residential schools as per notification.
- Male & Female candidates without encumbrances are eligible.
- Desirable: Master’s Degree / B.Ed and proficiency in regional language.
Pay Scale / Remuneration- Rs. 35,750/- per month (Consolidated)
- Engagement will be purely on contract basis for session 2026-27.
