How to Apply for Punjab SSSB Line Superintendent Recruitment 2026

• Applications must be submitted online only through the SSSB Punjab portal https://sssb.punjab.gov.in. Applications submitted by any other mode (post, in person, etc.) will not be accepted and will be rejected.
• New users must first register on the portal to generate a User ID and password, then log in and complete the online application. Once the application form is submitted, no changes/corrections can be made under any circumstances.
• Candidates who applied under Advt. No. 08/2023 must register afresh, generate a new User ID, and verify their previously submitted Application Number and Date of Birth during the process.

Documents to be uploaded at time of Online Application:

• 10th class certificate (for age proof and Punjabi language qualification)
• Educational/Technical qualification certificate (3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering)
• Domicile/Residence Certificate of Punjab (not older than 5 years)
• Caste Certificate (SC) if applicable — as per Punjab Govt. instructions
• Any other mandatory document as specified in the portal

Documents to be produced in Original + Attested Copies at Counselling:

• Educational qualification certificates (10th, Diploma)
• Domicile/Residence Certificate of Punjab
• SC Certificate (if applicable)
• NOC from department (for State/Central Govt. employees claiming age relaxation)
• Any other category-related certificate as demanded by the Board

Important Instructions for Punjab SSSB Line Superintendent Recruitment 2026 Candidates

• Online applications only — no manual or postal applications will be accepted.
• Category and category code once filled cannot be changed at any stage.
• Reservation benefits are available only to residents of Punjab.
• All required educational qualifications must be completed on or before the last date of application (05-06-2026).
• Fee once paid is non-refundable; application without successful fee payment will be summarily rejected.
• Photograph (passport size / live camera capture) and scanned signature must be uploaded — applications without these will be treated as incomplete.
• Required certificates must be uploaded in PDF format as per portal specifications at time of online application.
• Once application form is submitted, no correction/modification will be permitted under any circumstances.
• Candidates are advised to apply themselves and not take help of any cyber cafe attendant or third party — any error in the form is the candidate’s own responsibility.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending written examination or counselling.
• All information regarding exam date, admit card, exam centre, result, merit list, and other updates will be published ONLY on the official website https://sssb.punjab.gov.in — no individual communication will be sent.
• Candidates must regularly check the Board’s website until the recruitment process is complete.
• If a candidate is already debarred by SSSB Punjab or any other institution, they are not eligible to apply.
• Govt. employees must produce NOC from their department at the time of counselling.
