Age Limit (20 to 45 years as on 01.02.2025):

• For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 02.02.1980 and not later than 01.02.2005. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC / BC: Born not earlier than 02.02.1975 and not later than 01.02.2005. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

• For Senior Scientific Officer (DNA): M.Sc with 60% marks with Zoology / Physical Anthropology / Genetic / Bio-Chemistry / Bio Technology / Micro-Biology / Molecular biology / Forensic Science or its equivalent with Zoology / Botany as one of the subject at B.Sc Level + 3 years experience.
• For Senior Scientific Officer (Scene of Crime): M.Sc with 50% marks with Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Physical Anthropology / Human Biology / Human Genetics / Bio-Technology / Molecular Biology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Forensic Science or its equivalent + 3 years experience.

Fees: Rs. 1000/- for General Male candidates, Rs. 250/- for SC / BC / ESM / Female / EWS candidates and There is no fee for PwBD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Senior Scientific Officer in HPSC Recruitment 2026 are given below:
