Name of the Exam: UGC National Eligibility Test (NET)
Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates):
- For NET: There is no upper age limit
- For JRF (Max. 30 years 01.01.2026): Born not earlier than 02.01.1996 [Max. 30 years]
Qualification: Passed / Appearing Master Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC / ST / OBC / PwD)
Fees: Rs. 1150/- for General candidates, Rs. 600/- for OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 325/- for SC / ST / PwD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Selection Process: Certificate will be issued on the basis of performance in Written Exam.
