Eligibility
- Candidates must possess eminent ability, integrity, standing, and experience in any one of the following fields:
- Education
- Child Health, Care, Welfare or Child Development
- Juvenile Justice / Care of Neglected, Marginalized or Disabled Children
- Elimination of Child Labour
- Child Psychology or Sociology
- Laws Relating to Children
Remuneration
- Honorarium: ₹2,000/- per meeting attended
- No regular salary (Honorary Position)
- Additional benefits as per Haryana Government rules
HSCPCR Recruitment 2026: Vacancy Details
Term of Office & Tenure
- Tenure Duration: 3 Years from the date of appointment
- Early removal as per Section 7(1) of the relevant Act
- Eligible for re-nomination as Chairperson or Member for up to two additional terms as per rules
Duties & Responsibilities
- Protection and promotion of child rights in Haryana
- Advising Government on child welfare policies
- Investigation of child rights violation cases
- Monitoring implementation of child protection laws
- Complaint redressal and public awareness
- Coordination with Government departments and NGOs
