State Bank of India advertises for the posts for Engagement of Apprentices. The selection of apprentices in SBI will be done through online written exam and local language test. Those who got selected will be eligible for being engaged as apprentices in the bank. However it is to be noted that this is not an employment by the bank.

The engagement of apprentice in SBI will be only for one year. During this year, apprentice candidate will be given Salary / Stipend of Rs.15000/- per month during Training. No other allowances/ benefits will be given during this period.
Job Profile: The seats are on Apprentice. These should not be treated as an employment in the Bank. During training period, apprentices will be given training of various tasks.
SBI Apprentice Salary / Stipend during Apprentice: Rs. 15000 per month during training of one year.
Candidate need to be graduate from a recognized university or institute and between 20 and 28 years of age to apply for these apprentice seats in SBI. The bank has declared District wise training seats in the advertisement. Those Candidates who had one or more year(s) training or job experience after educational qualifications, shall NOT be eligible for being engaged as Apprentices.
